Scrambled egg sandwich

Here is another recipe you would love to eat. This can be your breakfast or dinner, it can be your lunch depending on your appetite, for me as lunch it isn’t satisfying one.

This can be prepared using a wheat bread or sandwich bread. I haven’t experimented with other types of breads. Very simple to prepare, lets gets started

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Bread sandwich or wheat
  • 1 egg
  • Salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • oil
  • butter

Preparation

Lets start off with bread, apply butter on either bread slices. If you love bread to be crispy, heat them at low heat for some time else you can heat it at high flame and remove them once the color changes to light brown. Repeat this process for each bread slices, you can heat more than one bread slices depending on size of the pan.

Next step would be get the egg ready, beat the egg along with salt and pepper till color looks even. For a soft and fluffy omlette its suggested to beat the egg well till its soft. Place a pan on stove and let it get heated, add oil to the pan. For an egg you can use a teaspoon of oil for omlette. However for a scrambled egg it becomes 1.5 teaspoon of oil for an egg.

Pour the egg in the pan and keep stirring make sure egg doesn’t form into a big chunk of omlette. Now again people preference changes about when to remove omlette from fire. I like my egg to be softly cooked, some people love it to be very soft or little hard (rubbery).

Spread scrambled egg on bread evenly and apply tomato sauce to it. Place another piece of bread over the spread.
