Egg sandwich is pretty easy preparation, ready in few minutes. Tastes best with sandwich bread, you can try with a wheat bread. Good for breakfast or dinner.
- 4 slice bread
- 1 boiled egg
- 1 teaspoon butter
- Salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Cut boiled egg to small pieces as possible and add it to a bowl. Finally what we need is a smooth texture which can be applied over a slice of bread, so smaller the better.
Add butter to the already cut egg. Better to have butter which has been warmed to room temperature. In case butter is still solid, it can be heated a bit without melting.
Add salt and pepper to egg butter mixture. This I leave it to your preference as it varies from people to people, I generally have lot of pepper.
If you wish to toast the bread, it can toasted lightly not to make it crispy. Well again it depends on people taste.
Spread the egg mixture on a slice of bread evenly and place another slice over it.
